AGO - DIVISIONS

To enable a more efficient delivery of our services to our clients, the various services are coordinated under four divisions, each headed by a Partner or a Manager.

These divisions are as follows:

i.  Auditing and Investigations Division

Headed by a Partner with responsibility for all audit investigations, this division also handles special investigations and the preparation of special reports for management.  It is the duty of this division to liaise with the audit committees of the various clients on matters relating to the audit assignment.

  ii.  Taxation and Tax Advisory Services Division

This division handles all taxation and tax related matters for our clients.  It liaises with the Federal Inland Revenue Services and State Revenue Offices on Company and personal income tax matters respectively.  A Senior Manager who is also a Tax Expert heads the division.

iii.   Accounting and Financial Advisory Services Division

Agochukwu Okpalaoka & Co undertakes the introduction of accounting, costing and computer based systems for companies and other organizations. This division handles accounts reconciliation jobs, updating of accounting records and preparation of final accounts for clients. It undertakes the introduction, development and review of accounting and other systems for clients. It also assists clients in the area of funds sourcing and funds management, the preparation of feasibility and viability studies and project evaluation works. The division is headed by a Manager.

iv. Management Consultancy and General Services Division

This division is engaged in manpower recruitment and training for our various clients. The division, which is headed by a Partner, is also charged with the co-ordination of the work of the other divisions within the firm. It organizes periodic training workshops for clients’ staff and assists clients with staff harmonization as well as staff recruitment and executive search.
